A Collection of Mixed World Coins and Tokens including CA, DE, ES, HK, PT, CU, MX, JP, and CN - This group of international coinage and currency tokens consists of pieces struck in various compositions including silver, cupro-nickel, bronze, aluminum, and zinc. Primary specimens include an 1852 CA Bank of Upper Canada one penny token, a 1938 DE silver 2 Reichsmark, and a 1942 DE 1 Reichspfennig. The assortment also features a 1946 PT 2.50 escudos silver coin, a 1947 ES one peseta, and an 1870 ES five centimos. Other items in the collection include a 1915 CU five centavos, a 1946 MX twenty centavos, a 1975 HK two-dollar coin, several JP sen coins from the Showa era, and a cast CN cash coin from the Qing Dynasty. Coins exhibit circulation wear consistent with grades from good to very fine. Visible issues include surface oxidation, scattered toning, and adhesive residue on multiple specimens. Two coins have been intentionally perforated with suspension holes. Zinc specimens show characteristic corrosion and darkening.
