1961 Canada 1 Cent Bronze Coin, Off-Center Strike - 1961 Canadian one-cent bronze coin. The obverse depicts the laureate portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right with the legend ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA. The reverse features the maple leaf twig design by Krueger-Gray, including the denomination 1 CENT, the date 1961, and the word CANADA. This coin displays a minor off-center strike error resulting in uneven rim thickness. It is housed in a vintage cardboard and staple flip with handwritten notes including provenance from Truro, Nova Scotia. Very fine. The coin shows light circulation wear and a consistent brown patina. Minor surface bag marks are visible. The vintage coin flip exhibits age-toning and oxidation.
