Canada 1961 1 Cent Bronze Coin with Off-Center Strike Error - A Canada 1961 1 cent bronze coin, cataloged as KM# 59. The obverse features the laureate bust of Queen Elizabeth II, while the reverse depicts two maple leaves on a twig, a design by G.E. Kruger-Gray. This specimen exhibits an off-center strike error, with the design shifted toward the lower-left on the obverse and lower-right on the reverse. This misalignment results in a significant unstruck crescent of the planchet along the upper rim. The coin displays substantial original red mint luster. Diameter: 19.05 mm. Uncirculated. The coin retains full original red luster with minimal surface marks or signs of handling. The strike error is well-defined and clearly visible on both sides.
