1902-H Canada Silver 10-Cent Off-Center Strike Error - This numismatic specimen is a 1902-H Canada silver 10-cent piece featuring a notable off-center production error. Struck at the Heaton Mint in Birmingham, England, as indicated by the H mint mark on the reverse, the coin exhibits a strike approximately 5 to 10 percent off-center toward the 7 o'clock position relative to the obverse. This error resulted in a widened rim on the lower left and a loss of denticles on the upper right edge. The obverse features the Edward VII design, and the reverse displays the Maple Leaf wreath pattern. The coin is composed of .925 fine silver. This piece carries a significant provenance, housed in a vintage cardboard 2x2 flip with handwritten notations attributing it to the collection of Hans Zoell, a prominent Canadian numismatist and error coin specialist.
