Undated CA 1 Cent Mint Error Uniface Strike - This CA 1-cent coin is a uniface strike mint error. The obverse features the Elizabeth II laureated bust design with the legend ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA. The reverse side is completely blank. Struck in a bronze alloy with a plain edge, the coin is undated as the date is absent from the uniface side. The specimen is housed in a vintage 2x2 cardboard holder featuring handwritten blue ink inscriptions 1 CENT- CANADA, REV. BLANK, and REAL!!. The reverse of the holder shows pencil markings ARAIN and $ 20.00. Fine. The coin exhibits a natural dark brown patina with significant toning and surface irregularities on the blank reverse side. The obverse shows wear consistent with circulation on the high points of the portrait and lettering. Original mint luster is not present.
