Four US Walking Liberty 90% Silver Half Dollars, 1942-1945 - A set of four United States Walking Liberty half dollars dated 1942, 1943, 1944, and 1945. Each coin is composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. The coins feature the Walking Liberty obverse design and a heraldic eagle on the reverse. All four examples lack mint marks, signifying they were struck at the Philadelphia Mint. The coins feature reeded edges. Weight: 1.589 ozt (total). The coins are in circulated condition, exhibiting moderate to heavy wear on the high points of the obverse and reverse motifs. The 1942 and 1944 examples show spots of green oxidation (verdigris) on the obverse near the lower rims. Surfaces show scattered contact marks consistent with age and circulation.
