1962 CA Bronze 1 Cent, Major Reverse Lamination Mint Error - 1962 Canada bronze 1 cent. The obverse features the laureate portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse features the G.E. Kruger-Gray maple leaf design. This specimen exhibits a major mint error on the reverse consisting of a prominent, raised, crescent-shaped lamination fold or planchet flaw on the right side of the field, overlapping the maple leaf and the word CANADA. The coin is housed in a vintage HUDSON'S E-Z SEAL white cardboard and plastic window holder. Markings and Inscriptions: Obverse: ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA Reverse: 1 CENT, 1962, CANADA, KG Holder: JACK MORRISON and $1.00 handwritten in pencil and ink; embossed E-Z SEAL and HUDSON'S along the top edge. Uncirculated condition with significant original red-brown (RB) luster. Surface shows minor contact marks and small localized dark spots of oxidation consistent with age. The vintage holder exhibits yellowing, foxing, and wear to the serrated edges.
