A Collection of US Bronze Indian Head One-Cent Coins 1881-1908 - A collection of US bronze one-cent coins consisting of the Indian Head obverse and oak wreath with shield reverse design types. The group includes various dates from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, including 1881, 1888, 1898, 1899, 1900, 1901, 1902, 1903, 1904, 1905, and 1908. The coins are predominantly housed in 2x2 cardboard and plastic flips featuring handwritten dealer notes and amateur grading notations. One loose 1888 specimen is present. No professional third-party grading (PCGS/NGC) is associated with these coins. Diameter: 19.05 mm Weight: 3.11 grams Composition: Bronze (95% copper, 5% tin and zinc). The coins exhibit varying degrees of circulated wear consistent with grades ranging from Good to Very Fine. Surface qualities vary from standard chocolate brown patinas to darker toning. One loose 1888 coin displays advanced green surface oxidation and corrosion (verdigris). Several coins show minor rim nicks and contact marks consistent with age and circulation. The cardboard flips exhibit wear, handling, and previous pricing markings.
