1960 CA Silver 10 Cents, Off-Center Strike Error - A 1960 Canadian 10-cent business strike coin struck in .800 fine silver. The specimen features a minor off-center strike error, evidenced by uneven rim thickness on both faces. The obverse displays the laureate portrait of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, surrounded by the legend ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA. The reverse depicts the schooner Bluenose with the inscriptions CANADA and 10 CENTS and the date 1960. The coin is presented in a vintage 2x2 cardboard holder with handwritten inscriptions. The front of the holder is marked in blue ink 1960 - 10c - CANADA and OFF CENTER. The back of the holder features pencil notations including the name NICK MYSCHUK, trade history referencing an 1858 1-cent and 1894 5-cent piece, and the notation #6 credit. About Uncirculated. The coin retains significant original luster with attractive dark peripheral toning. Minor surface contact marks are visible on the fields. The vintage cardboard holder shows age-related yellowing and oxidation at the staple points.
