1951 CA 1 Cent George VI Straight Clip Mint Error - A CA 1-cent coin dated 1951 struck in bronze (KM# 41). This specimen features a straight clip mint error, a planchet defect where the blank was punched from the edge of the metal strip. The obverse features the George VI effigy and the reverse features the Maple Leaf design. The coin is accompanied by its vintage paper holder featuring handwritten graphite notations. Very fine. The surfaces exhibit moderate circulation wear consistent with grade and a dark chocolate-brown patina. Minor green verdigris is present in the recessed legends along with uneven toning. The straight clipped edge is located at the 2 o'clock position relative to the obverse.
