A Collection of UK and Canadian Coins and Tokens - An assortment of numismatic items individually housed in 2x2 cardboard and plastic protective flips. The group includes a Lower Canada 1837 Bank of Montreal One Penny ”Habitant” bank token (KM# Tn2) featuring a standing figure on the obverse and a saltire shield on the reverse. Also present is a Canada 1888 One Cent (KM# 7) featuring the young portrait of Queen Victoria. The collection contains two Great Britain One Penny coins: one dated 1912 featuring King George V (KM# 810) and one dated 1896 featuring the Queen Victoria ”Old Head” portrait (KM# 790). Each piece is composed of bronze or copper. Several flips contain handwritten annotations regarding dates, denominations, and estimated market values. The coins exhibit varying degrees of circulation wear ranging from good to very fine. The 1896 British penny is heavily worn with significant smoothing of the relief and dark patination. The 1888 Canadian cent displays moderate wear with legible inscriptions and defined wreath detail. The 1837 token shows wear consistent with heavy circulation for its period. No evidence of harsh cleaning or significant edge damage is observed on the 1888 or 1912 specimens.
