CA 1962 1 Cent Coin Broken Planchet Error - Issuer: Canada. Denomination: 1 Cent. Date: 1962. Composition: Bronze. Obverse features the Young Head Elizabeth II design. Reverse displays the Maple Leaf design. This specimen exhibits a major production error identified on the vintage holder as being struck on a broken planchet, appearing as a prominent vertical fissure or split through the center of the coin. The piece retains original mint red color and luster. It is housed in a 2x2 cardboard flip with handwritten collector notes regarding the error, provenance from Humboldt, Minnesota, and mention of a cracked die. Diameter: 19.05 mm Weight: 3.24 g.
