Lionel 6-9557 Chicago and Alton Webster Groves Illuminated Passenger Car - A Lionel O and O27 gauge illuminated passenger car, catalog number 6-9557. This model represents the Webster Groves car from the Chicago and Alton Railroads The Alton Limited series. The item is constructed of plastic with metal wheels and couplers. The exterior features a maroon and red color scheme with gold-tone lettering and white window inserts. Identification marks on the box end flap include the Lionel brand name, the gauge designation, the specific car name, and the catalog number 6-9557. The side of the car is lettered with C and A and THE ALTON LIMITED. The model includes its original window-style graphic retail box. The passenger car is in like-new condition and appears to have never been removed from its internal plastic protective sleeve. There are no visible signs of wear, paint loss, or use on the car itself. The original box is present and shows moderate shelf wear, including corner blunting, surface scuffing, and minor creasing.
