Lionel O Gauge No. 3650 Searchlight Extension Car with Original Box - A vintage O-gauge model train car manufactured by The Lionel Corporation. This No. 3650 Searchlight Extension Car features a molded light-gray plastic frame with a waffle-patterned underside. The car is equipped with metal trucks and wheels and functioning couplers. Mounted accessories include a red plastic wire reel holding green insulated wire, a gray plastic searchlight housing on a red base, and a gray plastic simulated generator. The car features a manual hand-cranked reel designed to extend the wire connected to the searchlight. One side of the frame is stamped with the characters 3650 LIONEL LINES 3650. The lot includes the original orange, blue, and white cardboard box. The end flap is printed with No. 3650 SEARCHLIGHT EXTENSION CAR LIONEL in blue. The side panel features the LIONEL ELECTRIC TRAINS logo and a lower blue band with THE LIONEL CORPORATION, NEW YORK, CHICAGO, and a small AMERICAN TOYS logo. The train car is in good, complete condition with minor surface wear. The wiring remains present on the reel. The original box is intact but shows moderate shelf wear, including creasing, edge wear, and a significant vertical crease and tear on one end flap.
