4 O-Gauge Alco PA-1 A-B-A Diesel Locomotive Units in Delaware and Hudson Livery - Attributed to Lionel, this set consists of 4 O-gauge Alco PA-1 diesel locomotive units designed for three-rail track operation. The set is composed of two powered A-units and one non-powered B-unit booster. The units are finished in the Delaware and Hudson blue and silver livery with yellow pinstriping and accents. The A-units are marked with road numbers 17 and 19 in white on black number boards. Each unit features a molded plastic body shell, die-cast metal trucks, and die-cast frames. The units are equipped with six-wheel trucks, with the powered units featuring dual pickup rollers. Observable details include operating knuckle couplers, molded radiator fans, and chrome-finished horn assemblies on the cab roofs. The body sides bear the Delaware and Hudson name and the shield-shaped script D&H herald. The units are in very good cosmetic condition with crisp paint and sharp lettering. A visible layer of surface dust is present across the top surfaces and within body crevices consistent with shelf storage. Minor wear is evident on the pickup rollers and wheels from previous track use. Internal electronics and motors have not been tested for functionality.
