Erie Lackawanna EMD SD45 O Gauge Diesel Locomotive No. 3603 - O gauge 3-rail model of an Electro-Motive Division EMD SD45 diesel locomotive finished in the gray, maroon, and yellow livery of the Erie Lackawanna railroad. This model features a plastic body shell secured to a heavy die-cast metal chassis. Decoration includes the road name ERIE LACKAWANNA on the long hood, road number 3603 on the cab and illuminated number boards, and the Erie Lackawanna diamond logo on the nose. A prototype-specific classification MFE 36D6A is printed on the cab sides. A RADIO EQUIPPED logo with a lightning bolt appears on the lower cab side. The locomotive is designed for 3-rail operation, featuring two underside pickup rollers and die-cast metal three-axle trucks with metal wheels and traction tires. It is equipped with an integrated sound system, as indicated by the speaker grille on the underside of the fuel tank. Operating electronic couplers are present on both the front and rear. Detailing includes separate wire grab irons, handrails, windshield wipers, and roof-mounted radiator fan grilles. A small yellow circular sticker with the number 6 is located on the underside of the fuel tank. The locomotive is in excellent condition. The paint is vibrant and crisp with no visible chips or wear. Handrails and fine detail parts appear straight and complete. Wheels and pickup rollers show very light evidence of run time. No original packaging or documentation is present.
