Lionel No. 3494-150 Missouri Pacific Eagle Operating Box Car with Original Box - Lionel Corporation No. 3494-150 Operating Box Car in the Missouri Pacific Lines Eagle Merchandise Service livery. The model features a molded plastic body in blue and silver with a yellow plastic sliding door. It is constructed with a metal chassis, die-cast metal trucks, and operating couplers. The car contains an internal operating mechanism with a blue plastic figure that moves when activated by a track-side plunger located on the underside of the car. Lettering on the left side includes the Eagle script logo, a Missouri Pacific Lines circular seal, and a date stamp of NEW 3 54. The right side features MERCHANDISE SERVICE in black block lettering along with various dimensional data. Die-cast trucks and the underside show minimal signs of wear. The original box is present and intact, exhibiting light shelf wear, minor edge softening, and light staining consistent with age.
