Five Lionel Postwar O Gauge Model Train Freight Cars - A group of five vintage post-war era O gauge model train freight cars manufactured by Lionel. The collection consists of car bodies constructed of molded plastic mounted on black-painted metal chassis with die-cast metal trucks and metal wheels. Most units are equipped with operating knuckle couplers. The collection includes the following items: Lionel No. 6656 Stock Car: Yellow body with black heat-stamped lettering. Side markings include the Lionel L logo, 6656, LIONEL LINES, and load data CAPY 80000. Lionel No. 3472 Automatic Refrigerated Milk Car: Cream body with blue heat-stamped lettering. Markings include the Lionel L logo, RT 3472, AUTOMATIC REFRIGERATED MILK CAR, and BUILT BY LIONEL. The car features silver-toned metal double doors and a loading hatch on the roof. Lionel No. 3464 New York Central (NYC) Operating Boxcar: Reddish-brown body with white heat-stamped lettering. Markings include the New York Central System oval logo, NYC 159000, and X3464 BUILT BY LIONEL. This is an operating car featuring a blue-painted figure in the doorway, activated by a metal plunger mechanism on the underside. Lionel No. 6454 Erie Boxcar: Dark brown body with white lettering and the Erie Railroad diamond logo. Markings include ERIE 81000 and X6454 BUILT BY LIONEL. It is fitted with black sliding side doors. Additional Boxcar: One further dark brown boxcar. The items are in used vintage condition. Visible surface dust, minor paint scuffs, and light oxidation on some metal components are present consistent with age and use. The yellow No. 6656 stock car is missing one sliding side door. The operational functionality of the milk car and the NYC operating boxcar has not been tested. No original packaging or boxes are included.
