A Collection of M.T.H. RailKing O-Gauge Flatcars and a Test Weight Car - A collection of O-gauge model train rolling stock primarily manufactured by M.T.H. Electric Trains. The group includes various flatcars with loads and a specialized maintenance car. The first item is a scale model test weight car for the Pennsylvania Railroad. The body is constructed of die-cast metal with metal wheels and axles. The side is marked TEST WEIGHT CAR, PENNSYLVANIA, 490389, and PRR. Additional text includes TO BE HAULED ON REAR END OF TRAIN and technical data regarding bearing lubrication and build date. The underside is marked M.T.H. Electric Trains. The second item is a RailKing auto transport flatcar with a plastic body and metal trucks. It carries a load of two die-cast metal 1964 Chevrolet Impala hardtop models in red, which are secured to the deck with wire ties. The side of the flatcar is marked CLASSIC AUTO, M.T.H., TRANSPORT, and 1964. The underside is marked MTH. The third item is a Santa Fe (ATSF) piggyback flatcar with a plastic body and metal trucks. It carries two semi-trailers featuring Santa Fe markings, American flag decals, and text for TRUCK RAIL SERVICE. The side of the flatcar is marked ATSF 290543. The underside is marked M.T.H. ELECTRIC TRAINS. The final item is a purple flatcar numbered 6424, constructed of plastic with metal wheels. It carries a single white semi-trailer with FedEx, Federal Express, and The World On Time markings. All cars are equipped with standard O-gauge operating knuckle couplers and three-rail trucks. No original packaging is included with these items. All items exhibit significant surface dust and light debris consistent with long-term open storage. The paint and lettering remain largely intact across the collection. The grey auto transport flatcar has one truck that is currently detached but present. Operating mechanisms have not been tested. The items are sold as-is.
