Bidspirit auction | INLAID CABINET

INLAID CABINET - Austria-Hungary 1860s - 1880s Small cabinet, probably originally intended for storing furniture keys, made of spruce wood veneered with walnut veneer. The doors are decorated with strip inlay in plum veneer and feature panels inlaid with fruit (possibly pear?) burl. The interior, added later, is made of oak wood with a drawer and shelves. 48x38x17 cm. Condition B.
