TWO ANNUAL TABLE CLOCKS; JAHRESUHRENFABRIK (JUF) – AUGUST SCHATZ & SÖHNE, AND GUSTAV BECKER - TWO ANNUAL TABLE CLOCKS; JAHRESUHRENFABRIK (JUF) – AUGUST SCHATZ & SÖHNE, AND GUSTAV BECKER 1900–1912 A brass mechanical movement with spring drive and torsion (rotary) escapement. The movement construction is designed for an annual wind (400-day clock). The rear plate bears a factory mark – an anchor under a Prussian crown with the initials G-B (Gustav Becker trademark) and piece number 2,467,957, or two lions holding a clock dial (August Schatz & Söhne). A torsion pendulum with four weights, suspended on an undamaged steel suspension spring. The movement is equipped with a locking mechanism for safe transport. White enamelled dial with Arabic numerals (the JUF dial supplemented with painted floral garlands). Original steel hands. Both retain their original glass domes. Condition corresponding to the age. Pendulum detached; before suspending and starting the movement, cleaning and locking are required. Running not verified. Complete in all original parts.
