SET OF 11 WINE GLASSES FROM THE CROMWELL / MARIENBAD COLLECTION - Bohemia, Carlsbad, Moser, after 1911 A set of 6 red wine glasses and 5 champagne glasses, colourless cut glass, hexagonal stem; arched facets extend continuously over the lower half of the bowl, the rim is decorated with an oroplastic border of floral ornaments, gilded foot edge. The Cromwell collection is very similar to the Pope collection, or other derived ones (Heilbrunn, Melikoff, Marienbad, or Lady Hamilton), but differs in the shape of the chalice, which is more tulip-shaped than bell-shaped. It retains, however, the characteristic six large arched flat cuts (facets). H. 17.9 cm and 20 cm. Unmarked.
