Elad Kofler (Kopler), Israeli painter and sculptor, born Ramat Gan, 1974. Elad Kofler was raised by his grandmother in a small shack in Ramat Gan. He studied architecture for four years but chose to become an artist instead. His large format post-apocalyptic paintings feature fragments of buildings, machines and industrial plants in nightmarish, claustrophic compositions. His sculptures include "Fur Cart, " a fur vehicle that is half-toy, half instrument of war.
