Rena Mednick - A Prayer for the IDF. - Rena Mednick - A Prayer for the IDF. Rena Mednick (née Lieberman), born in 1994 in Manchester, UK, developed a love  for Israel and art from a young age. At 18, she moved to Israel, where she spent a  year studying art and Torah before starting her two years of national service. Her helmet artwork symbolizes Israel’s strength and spiritual connection,   incorporating elements like the map of Eretz Yisrael, a prayer for the IDF, a tank with  the flag, and doves of peace. Set against a backdrop of sand and heavens, it reflects  God’s blessings and the ultimate goal of rebuilding the Bet Hamikdash. Each of her  creations, including this one, is infused with her heart and soul. All proceeds will be donated to the purchase of protective equipment for the IDF reserve soldiers.
