Bidspirit auction | Sahar Haba - Lemon Tree.

Sahar Haba - Lemon Tree. - Sahar Haba - Lemon Tree. Dr.H Workshop’s Art for the Soul, the Sneakers, and Everything In Between Sahar Haba doesn’t paint on canvas - he paints on what’s been worn, lived, and scuffed by time.  Through Dr.H Workshop’s, he transforms sneakers, guitars, helmets, furniture—even cars—into living artworks.  From his Tel Aviv studio, every piece gets a second chance to speak, to surprise, to be seen.  His inspiration flows from street culture, music, childhood memories, and personal archives. No object is too ordinary to become extraordinary in his hands. A cracked helmet becomes a vessel of memory. A worn sneaker turns into a bold voice.  His work fuses pop art, protest, humor, healing, and raw emotion.  Each creation tells a story—personal, urban, and unmistakably human. Over the years, he’s collaborated with brands like Nike and BMW, but always stayed rooted in the streets.  His workshops are less about technique, more about expression and reflection.  Nothing is made just to look good—it’s made to feel, to question, to connect.  For this exhibition, Sahar presents a reimagined fighter’s helmet—fractured, golden, reborn.  It stands as a symbol of vulnerability turned into power, silence into voice. Step into Dr.H Workshop’s world—where every crack has something to say.  When you’re a soldier, home never truly leaves you.  For me, it was the giant lemon tree outside our window in Ein Hemed.  Every time I came back from the army, my whole family was there, waiting.  My mother’s joyful cooking filled the house with warmth, and my closest friends — all of us soldiers — held each other up through the tough times. That tree was an anchor. A silent guardian.  It kept giving fruit, even when I was far away.  Through long journeys and days of conflict, the thought of home — and the knowing there’s something worth protecting — always stayed with me.  Painting lemons on this helmet became a sort of talisman — a reminder of home, of roots, of something sweet and grounded.  That tree still stands strong. And when I need a reminder that nature and home have my back — I remember: there’s no room for fear. All proceeds will be donated to the purchase of protective equipment for the IDF reserve soldiers.
