Silvia Harati - Menashe. - Silvia Harati - Menashe. Silvia Harati was born in Argentina, studied art in New York and has been living in Israel for 33 years. Art is her language of expression, often serving a healing and therapeutic purpose. She finds her goal as an artist has been accomplished when viewers find their personal resonance in her work.  What caught the attention of the “vintage” helmet was the label containing identifying information of the wearer; the catalogue number, the date, the size and the name of the man who wore it. She found information online on Menashe Muallem, but left the search at the point of doubting whether it was him. The helmet is set on a pedestal highlighting the symbolic label and leaving all of us in mystery. All proceeds will be donated to the purchase of protective equipment for the IDF reserve soldiers.
