Teapot in Portuguese silver, 18th 19th century. Body decorated with plant motifs and flowers, resting on three ball feet. Fantastic animal-shaped beak. Handle in carved wood, restored. With a contrasting mark from Porto (P-35.0), in c.1853 to 1555 and a goldsmith's mark, possibly AIR (P_126.0), attributable to Manuel da Silva, from the same period. Part of the hinge post is missing. Minor defects, scratches and signs of use. Approx. weight: 1290 g.; Approx. height: 21 cm.
