Espadim Português de par do reino ou diplomata, cerca de 1890, do reinado de D. Carlos I. - ENG Portuguese smallsword of a peer of the realm or diplomat, circa 1890, from the reign of D. Carlos I. Gilded brass guard with openwork and raised decoration, featuring vegetal motifs and the Portuguese Royal arms. Wooden grip with mother-of-pearl plaques. Straight hollow-ground triangular blade with vegetal engravings. Black leather scabbard with gilded brass mounts, the throat mount fitted with a suspension button. Slight oxidation and signs of use. Approx. total length: 99 cm; approx. blade length: 82 cm. FR Espadon portugais de pair du royaume ou de diplomate, vers 1890, du règne de D. Carlos I. Garde en laiton doré, à décor ajouré et en relief, orné de motifs végétaux et des armes royales portugaises. Poignée en bois, avec des plaquettes en nacre. Lame droite triangulaire creuse, gravée de motifs végétaux. Fourreau en cuir noir, avec garnitures en laiton doré, celle de la bouterolle étant munie d’un bouton de suspension. Légère oxydation et traces d’usage. Longueur totale approximative : 99 cm ; longueur approximative de la lame : 82 cm. CN 葡萄牙王国贵族或外交官佩用佩剑，约1890年，D.
