Circular-bodied tureen, resting on a central foot, with a lid finial in the form of an angel playing a stringed instrument, on a rocky base with flowers. Stand with raised centre. Bearing the Porto assay mark (Eagle) for 833 thousandths, in use from 1938 to 1984, and the maker’s mark of Manuel Alcino de Carvalho Moutinho (1935–1986). Scratches, wear and minor defects. (2) Approx. total weight: 1726.7 g; Approx. height of tureen: 25 cm; Approx. diameter of stand: 30 cm. FR Soupière portugaise en argent avec son présentoir, XXe siècle, par Manuel Alcino Moutinho. Soupière à corps circulaire, reposant sur un pied central, avec une prise de couvercle en forme d’ange jouant d’un instrument à cordes, sur une base rocheuse ornée de fleurs. Présentoir à centre surélevé. Porte le poinçon de Porto (Aigle) pour 833 millièmes, en usage de 1938 à 1984, ainsi que le poinçon du fabricant Manuel Alcino de Carvalho Moutinho (1935–1986).
