Winchester Model 1890 .22 Short Pump Action Rifle - This is a Winchester Model 1890 Pump-Action Rifle chambered in .22 Short, serial number 303975, featuring an approximate 23.5-inch barrel with a blued metal finish and a wood stock with an oil finish. The rifle is equipped with classic Winchester buckhorn sights, and the bore is in good condition with strong rifling and no visible pitting. The action is tight and functions properly, with only minor play in the pump mechanism. It is fitted with a blued metal butt plate, and the foreend shows no cracks and remains in very good shape. This rifle was professionally restored in Marshall, Michigan, and remains in very good overall condition, showing some expected wear on the slide and magazine tube, a small amount of pitting on the rear sight, and very light traces of pitting on the barrel, with none visible elsewhere. The stock is in great shape, and while it’s uncertain if it’s original, it matches the restoration well. A well-preserved and functional example of a classic rimfire Winchester.
