Savage 24V-A .222Rem / 20GA Combo - This is a Savage Model 24V-A Combination Rifle/Shotgun, chambered in .222 Remington (rifle barrel) over 20 Gauge (shotgun barrel), serial number A172304. The barrels measure approximately 20 5/8 inches, with the 20-gauge barrel chambered for up to 3-inch shells. This over/under hinge-action firearm features a blued metal finish, checkered wood stock and forearm, and a flip-up rear rifle sight. The rifle barrel is in fair condition, with worn rifling and possible light pitting, while the shotgun barrel is in good condition. The receiver shows major edge wear and has engraved wildlife scenes, including a fox on one side and a turkey on the other. The barrels are structurally sound, though they show light scratches and minor surface rust. The wood has lost much of its finish, and the stock has a visible crack near the receiver on one side, along with light scratches and worn checkering. The forearm displays dents and similar checkering wear. The barrel selector is integrated into the hammer, which is fitted with a hammer extension.
