Russian Mosin Nagant 7.62x54R Bolt Action Rifle - This is a Russian Mosin-Nagant M44 Bolt-Action Rifle chambered in 7.62x54R, serial number BK7951, with a barrel length of approximately 19.5 inches. The bore has strong, prominent rifling, but shows deep pitting, and the action is in good mechanical condition. It is equipped with elevated rifle sights and marked on the barrel “M44 7.62x54R Hungary C.A.I. Georgia VT”, indicating Hungarian manufacture and import by Century Arms. The rifle is in fair overall condition, with heavy dings and wear to the stock, major muzzle and breech wear, and substantial wear around the trigger guard. The bluing on the receiver and barrel is in fair shape, with light rust and pitting throughout. Serial numbers on the receiver, magazine, and barrel all match (BK7951), but the bolt (BF3969) and butt plate (BK7799) do not. The stock is stamped and painted “177”, adding a unique characteristic.
