George Jones Apple Blossom Large Cobalt Blue Majolica Cheese Dome and Underplate - This George Jones Apple Blossom pattern majolica cheese dome and matching underplate are constructed from glazed earthenware. The bell-shaped lid features a rustic branch-form handle and is decorated with a deep cobalt blue glaze on the upper portion, accented by raised relief foliate and fruit motifs. Both the lower section of the lid and the circular underplate display a detailed basketweave pattern in shades of honey and brown. The interior and base show a white ceramic body. A temporary inventory sticker marked 0026 is present on the side of the lid.
