Jacobean Revival Style Oak Fall-Front Desk on Stand - A Jacobean Revival style fall-front desk on stand, constructed primarily of oak with a dark stained finish. The piece features a slanted fall front with geometric molded paneling and a central diamond motif, which opens to reveal an interior fitted with pigeonholes and three small drawers in a lighter secondary wood. To the right of the fall front is a vertical arrangement of three drawers, each decorated with molded borders, bosses, and carved oval pulls. The case is further embellished with carved foliate scrolls and a vertical band of repeating geometric patterns. The desk is supported by a stand with large bulbous turned front legs and square-section rear legs, all joined by an H-stretcher. No maker's marks or stamps are visible.
