William and Mary Style Oak Gate-Leg Drop-Leaf Table - A William and Mary style gate-leg drop-leaf table constructed of solid oak with a wide grain. The circular top consists of a fixed central section and two semi-circular leaves. The table is supported by a base featuring baluster and ring turned legs joined by a low-set box stretcher. Two of the legs function as swing-out gates to support the leaves when extended. Construction utilizes mortise and tenon joints with square blocks at the leg junctions. A pink label with the characters 0, 0, 4, 4 is affixed to the edge of one leaf. No maker marks or stamps are visible. Height: 28 inches Width: 39 inches Depth: 30 inches.
