Federal Style Inlaid Mahogany Pembroke Table - A Federal style mahogany Pembroke table featuring a rectangular center top flanked by two semi-elliptical drop leaves, which create an oval surface when fully extended. The tabletop is decorated with a fine light-wood inlaid stringing border. The construction includes a single frieze drawer at one end, which is fitted with a circular brass ring pull embossed with a Federal eagle motif. The piece is supported by four square tapered legs in the Hepplewhite taste. While the form and decorative elements are consistent with designs by manufacturers such as Councill Craftsmen and Ethan Allen, no maker mark is visible on the piece.
