William and Mary Style Oak Slant-Front Desk - This William and Mary style slant-front desk is constructed of oak and features a paneled fall-front. The fall-front opens to reveal a fitted interior containing multiple small drawers and pigeonholes. The lower carcass is configured with two short drawers over two long graduated drawers. The drawers and fall-front are fitted with brass batwing-style bail pulls and matching decorative escutcheons. The desk is supported by four large, turned bun feet. The oak surfaces exhibit a dark, aged patina. A small white adhesive label with the printed characters 0097 is present on the upper left of the fall-front.
