American Jacobean Revival Carved Oak Storage Stool - An American Jacobean Revival style storage stool or small table constructed of solid oak. The piece features a rectangular hinged lid that opens to reveal a shallow interior compartment. The front-facing panel is decorated with a deeply carved, symmetrical foliate scrollwork motif. The structure is supported by four bobbin-turned legs connected by matching turned stretchers using mortise and tenon joinery. The oak exhibits prominent graining throughout.
