Black Forest Carved Wood Cuckoo Clock with Bird and Oak Leaf Motif - This wall-hanging cuckoo clock is crafted in the traditional Black Forest style, featuring a design attributed to Adolf Herr. The case is constructed from dark-stained wood and is decorated with elaborate high-relief carvings depicting a nature theme, including detailed oak leaves, acorns, and textured branches. A large carved bird finial is positioned at the top of the case. The circular dark dial features applied light-colored Roman numeral hour markers and ornate white openwork hands. The clock is equipped with a mechanical, weight-driven movement powered by two cast-metal weights shaped like pine cones suspended on chains. The internal mechanism includes a traditional cuckoo call and strike. No maker's marks or signatures are visible on the exterior or dial. A small white adhesive sticker printed with the numbers 0712 is attached to one of the weights.
