An Assortment of Anchor Hocking Wexford Pattern Glass Tableware and Decorative Items - This collection consists of an assortment of clear pressed glass tableware and one decorative red glass jar. Based on the molded diamond-point and quilted design, the majority of the clear pieces are identified as the Wexford pattern manufactured by Anchor Hocking. The group includes a large footed compote with a scalloped rim, a smaller footed bowl, a decorative bell, two handled cruets with stoppers, and a rectangular lidded butter dish. Also included is a large round platter featuring an etched floral and foliage motif around the rim. The collection is completed by a square-bodied red glass jar with a clear lid, which appears to be a candle container. These items are constructed of soda-lime glass with molded edges and do not exhibit the sharp facets of cut crystal. No maker marks or signatures are visible on any of the pieces.
