A Trio of Goebel Hummel Flight Into Egypt Porcelain Figurines - A set of three glazed porcelain figurines from the Goebel Flight Into Egypt series. The collection features Mary seated on a donkey holding the swaddled infant Jesus, Joseph standing with a walking staff and lantern, and a small kneeling angel holding a lantern. Each figure is decorated in a matte and glazed finish with primary cobalt blue robes accented by white trim. The donkey is rendered in variegated grey and white tones. The base of the figurines bears the blue printed Goebel trademark featuring a bee inside a wide V, used between 1972 and 1979 (TMK-5), along with the text W. Germany. Incised model numbers including 230a and 7 are present on the underside. A small paper tag is attached to the Mary figure. Joseph stands approximately 7 inches tall. Mary on donkey stands approximately 7.5 inches tall.
