Seth Thomas Tambour Wood Mantel Clock - This Seth Thomas tambour style mantel clock features a dark-stained wood case with a curved top and a broad, stepped base. The circular silvered dial is set behind a hinged brass-toned bezel with a glass lens and displays black Arabic numerals. The dial is printed with the mark MADE BY SETH THOMAS IN U.S.A. at the bottom center. The mechanical movement is a key-wind type with two winding arbors located at the 4 and 8 o'clock positions, indicating a time and strike complication. A slow/fast adjustment indicator marked with S and F is positioned above the 6 o'clock mark. The case includes a brass latch on the side. Base width: approximately 15 - 18 inches.
