Art Nouveau Style Bentwood Hall Stand Attributed to Thonet - An Art Nouveau style bentwood hall stand attributed to Thonet, constructed from steam-bent wood with a dark brown finish. The upper portion features a rectangular beveled mirror with a decorative scrolled crest, flanked by sinuous bentwood forms. The mid-section includes two small accessory drawers with wooden knobs, positioned above a central circular ring designed to hold umbrellas or walking sticks. The piece is supported by four curved legs and includes a circular base shelf. The construction and design are characteristic of early 20th-century bentwood manufacturing.
