Red Lantern Artisanal Red Lacquer Chinoiserie Media Cabinet - A Chinoiserie-style media cabinet attributed to Red Lantern. The piece is of single-unit wood construction with a mottled red and gold lacquer-style finish. The exterior is decorated with hand-painted or stencil-applied polychrome and gilt scenes featuring long-tailed birds, peonies, bamboo, and Scholar's rocks, all framed by ornate decorative borders. The interior is finished in a uniform red tone and includes a large main compartment, a small storage drawer in the upper right with a brass pull, and an open shelf. The back panel features three circular cutouts for cable management. The doors are secured with a central brass butterfly-shaped backplate and a locking pin.
