A Set of 30 Tiffin-Franciscan King's Crown Pattern Ruby Flashed Glassware - This 30-piece collection of pressed glassware is in the King's Crown pattern, also known as Thumbprint. The set is attributed to Tiffin-Franciscan or Indiana Glass. Each piece is constructed from clear pressed glass featuring a deep ruby or cranberry stain applied as a flash to the upper portions. The collection consists of eight water goblets with flared rims and faceted stems, eight champagne or sherbet coupes with wide shallow bowls, eight salad or dessert plates with a central sunburst motif, one covered candy dish with a domed lid and pedestal base, one cylindrical bowl or ice bucket featuring a diamond point pressed pattern, and four small tumblers. The primary decorative element across the set is a row of circular thumbprint indentations. No maker's marks are present on the items.
