Two Silver Items Including a Walker and Hall Sterling Silver Epergne and a Chased Silver Plate Caddy - This lot consists of two silver-tone items including a sterling silver centerpiece and a decorative lidded canister. The first item is a sterling silver four-trumpet epergne by the maker Walker and Hall. The design features a tall central trumpet-form vase with three smaller detachable trumpets held by scrolled arms. Each trumpet is finished with a flared wavy rim and pierced vertical slotting. The piece is supported by a domed circular base on three ball feet. Hallmarks on the base include the maker mark W and H, the Sheffield crown assay mark, the lion passant sterling standard mark, and the date letter u for 1912. The second item is a cylindrical silver-plated tea caddy or canister with lobed sides. The exterior is decorated with chased and engraved vertical bands showing foliate and geometric patterns. The lid is removable with a lobed rim and a fruit-shaped finial. No hallmarks are present on this piece. Epergne height: approximately 9 to 10 inches Caddy height: approximately 4.5 to 5 inches.
