Hungerford of Memphis Solid Mahogany Tall Chest of Drawers - This mid-20th century Colonial Revival tall chest of drawers was manufactured by Hungerford of Memphis. The piece is constructed of solid mahogany and features a Chippendale-influenced chest-on-chest design. The facade consists of six full-width drawer tiers, each detailed with vertical center moldings to create a faux-split drawer appearance. The chest is fitted with decorative brass batwing-style pulls and is supported by bracket feet. The interior of a drawer contains a branded maker mark for Hungerford, Memphis and a paper label from the Mahogany Association Inc., numbered 332, certifying the use of solid genuine mahogany.
