Mid-Century Modern Edward Wormley for Dunbar Eleven Drawer Dresser - This mid-century modern double chest of drawers was manufactured by Dunbar of Berne, Indiana, and is attributed to designer Edward Wormley. The piece features a clean, rectilinear form with a recessed plinth base. The eleven-drawer arrangement consists of a top row of three small drawers over four subsequent rows of two wider drawers. The drawers are constructed with dovetail joinery and feature integral, recessed, carved oval pulls. The primary wood is a figured mahogany or walnut veneer with a warm, amber-toned finish. The secondary wood used for the drawer interiors is a light-colored hardwood. A rectangular brass label is present in the interior of a drawer, reading DUNBAR BERNE, INDIANA.
