Art Nouveau Edwardian Walnut Sideboard with Beveled Mirror Back - This sideboard is designed in the Art Nouveau Edwardian style, dating to approximately 1910. The piece is constructed from walnut with highly figured burl wood veneers on the drawer fronts and cabinet door panels. The upper section features a large beveled-edge mirror with a distinctive violin-shaped profile, set within an architectural frame featuring a molded cornice, leaf-carved scrollwork, and turned pilaster supports. The lower buffet base includes two short top drawers over two wide central drawers, flanked by two side cabinets. The cabinet doors are decorated with carved circular medallions and arched molding. The unit is supported by four turned and tapered legs with a scalloped apron at the center. The drawers and doors are fitted with ornate cast brass bail pulls and rectangular backplates.
