Tudor Revival Style Carved Oak Hall Robe - This hall robe or compact wardrobe is constructed of quartersawn oak with a dark-stained finish. The wood displays characteristic medullary rays on the top and front surfaces. It features single-piece construction with chamfered front corners. The exterior is composed of a large single door decorated with vertical planking and three panels of linenfold-style carving on the left side. The door is fitted with a darkened metal ring pull handle and decorative metal strap-style mounts with fleur-de-lis terminals at the corners. The interior is finished in a lighter natural wood and contains a lower horizontal shelf with four vertical dividers creating five storage compartments. The upper section is an open storage area, and a single horizontal metal rod is mounted to the interior face of the door. A modern white inventory sticker with the digits 0151 is located on the front near the latch. No manufacturer marks or stamps are visible. 72 H x 36 W x 20 D inches.
